"Victor designed and built a lovely run of wardrobes, with internal adjustable shelves and hanging, and external shelves for my 3 year old daughter’s new bedroom. The old wardrobes and cupboard were very dated and not in good condition, Victor removed them carefully with minimal damage to the surrounding area which had been decorated. He is a really nice guy who pays a lot of attention to the details both during the design and installation. He supplied several versions of the design as it developed using a 3d graphics package so we could see exactly how it would look. Everything has backs and floors which meant we didn’t have to worry about the state of our walls and floors. The paint finish is lovely and very durable. Victor is highly skilled and a perfectionist as can be seen by the finish on all his work. One alcove where we wanted some shelves had a sloping top but no problem he still managed to fit shelves with a back including a sloping top! The quality is so good for the reasonable price he charges, much better than the larger companies of which we have some experience.
We highly recommend Victor and would definitely use him again."

Victor designed and built bespoke wardrobes for our newly converted loft bedroom and all I can say is that they are spectacular. We had in mind what we wanted and from consultation to end product his attention to detail, efficiency and communication throughout the process was second to none. "Victor designed, made and installed a bespoke solution to our kitchen door. We had a very awkward area that needed an attractive, yet functional dog gate. Victor listened to our needs, and came up with a great design that is perfect for keeping our dogs contained in one area but allowing people to pass easily to and from the kitchen. He included a rising hinge so the door closes smoothly and quietly and the whole gate can be easily removed when not needed by just lifting off the hinges. Great work, of a high standard, from a reliable local craftsman."

"We recently moved to Coney Hall and we were looking for a carpenter for a bespoke window seat for our bay window. We got a few quotes from next door and also online. A few people came round but Victor from Straight Cut Handyman & Carpentry stood out for his friendly manner, professional approach and experience.
